Pilates

Pilates is an exercise programme which effectively stretches, strengthens and balances the body.  More than that, it is an awareness of the way we use our bodies.  It is based on the basic principles of concentration, centring, control, precision, coordination, breathing and flowing movements.

Classes move through a series of exercises offering different levels of difficulty, so whether you are a complete beginner or an  athlete, there is something for everyone.

Classes cost £10 for an hour session.  This can be on a pay-as-you-go basis. You can also book a set of 6 classes at £55 paid in advance.

Kate is an experienced instructor, qualified in Mat Pilates and Barre Pilates.  She also has an interest in functional movement, and movement optimisation.

PLEASE NOTE…. Students need their own mat and towel.  Other small equipment will be provided in class.
