From September, AURA memberships let you pay one simple amount every four weeks and get on with your dancing — no fumbling for cash at the door, no working out what you owe, and a proper saving on every class you take.
And if you'd rather keep paying as you go, that's absolutely fine too. Nothing changes. Memberships are here because a lot of you dance with us every single week, and it seemed daft to keep charging you like a first-timer.
Why bother with a membership?

It's cheaper
Members save between 17% and 32% on the classes they already take. Every four weeks, for doing exactly what you do now.
It's one less decision
No cash, no card machine, no "have I paid for this one?". Turn up, dance, go home.
You get more than classes
Priority booking on our big nights, £4 off every event ticket, and on our Plus memberships the monthly Social Night is included.

All prices are per four weeks. Cancel any time.
Not sure which one? If you dance once a week, Solo or Household is your fit. Twice a week, look at Plus — it includes the Social Night and is our best value. Unlimited is for the ones who'd live here if we let them. Still stuck? Give us a ring, we're very good at working this out. Not sure which classes you can come to? Check out our timetable!
Fancy an extra class one week? No problem — anything above your membership is simply £12, the same as everyone else pays. Your membership never stops you dancing more.
About the price change
From 1st September, classes are £12 per person.
We've held our prices for a long time and put this off as far as we sensibly can. Studio costs, music licensing and insurance have all gone one way, and we'd rather raise our prices a little than cut corners on the dancing.
Memberships are why we're telling you now rather than in September. If you dance with us regularly, a membership means you'll pay less per class than you do today, even after the increase. Have a look at the plans above and pick the one that matches how you already dance — most people find one fits almost exactly.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to sign up for a fixed term?
No. Memberships run every four weeks and you can cancel whenever you like. No contracts, no notice period, no awkward conversation.
What if I'm away, or poorly, or life gets in the way?
Your membership carries on and so do you. We've built the allowances around how people actually dance — including the weeks you can't make it.
Can two people share a Household membership?
Yes, that's exactly what it's for. Two named dancers, together or separately, whichever suits.
What if I want to dance more than my membership covers?
Brilliant. Any extra class is £12, exactly as it is now.
I only come now and then. Is a membership worth it?
Probably not, and we'd rather say so. If you dance with us less than once a week you're better off paying as you go. Memberships are for regulars.
Can I change or cancel later?
Of course. Move up, move down, or stop altogether — it's all in the app, or just ask us.
How do I pay?
Card, set up once when you join, then it renews automatically every four weeks. You'll get a receipt each time.
